Katherine Carscallen – Executive Director
Katherine Carscallen is a lifelong resident of Bristol Bay, raised in a generational fishing family. She captains the F/V Sea Hawk, making a living as part of the longest lasting sustainable salmon fishery in the world. She has worked actively for over a decade to protect the habitat which sustains Bristol Bay.

Nels Ure - Deputy Director
Nels Ure is a second generation Bristol Bay fishermen. He lives in Naknek, Alaska and has been fishing for more than half of his life. Nels is passionate about the long term sustainability of Bristol Bay's fishery & habitat, an advocate for in region equity, and seeks to engage the young generation of fishermen with issues that will affect Bristol Bay's future. nels@cfbb.org

Casey Coupchiak- Outreach Coordinator
Casey Coupchiak, originally from the village of Togiak, inherited her grandpa's drift permit and has fished the bay ever since. Growing up learning about subsistence from her grandma she is an advocate for sustainable fishing practices and sustainability of cultural resources and customs. She is interested in encouraging the younger generations' involvement in the fishery and protecting the last great wild salmon fishery in the world. casey@cfbb.org
